AWOL played a great mix of new and old songs, keeping the crowd dancing and jumping around with so much energy the whole time. I absolutely loved their performance! They gave us a little break with some slower songs, but they played all of my favorites. Everyone had a great time, and there were no idiots in the crowd. I was absolutely exhausted from dancing throughout their show. The opener, Meg Myers, made me want to slit my wrists. Her singing was nothing special, and she was on for way too long with all of her songs sounding exactly the same. Her screaming sounded like a teenager temper tantrum. Take some lessons from Lacey in Flyleaf, honey. The lead singer of IRONTOM was hilarious, energetic, and fabulous. Their energy and style are similar to Dana and Alden, and I could totally see why they were selected to open. His vogue style dance moves had us laughing and cheering him on because it was so entertaining. He knew how to engage a crowd. Meg Myers just cared to hear her own juvenile voice.
